It actually is very much like an ink blot - sadly - the oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico with the BP well. But it made me think how artful arrangement can make beauty out of loss. xo bb

marchmusings - indeed that was my feeling too when i saw this graphic. my first reaction before i knew what it was describing was how beautiful, but then upon realizing that it showed something like this it made me all the more sad for the disaster....

It reminds me of a bird flying towards me and than flying away again. I have to agree with Jude. It is very soothing.
I thought it was computer generated too. To think that's what an oil slick can do to the sea is awful
